Dianna Nixon is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts who has been residing in Gunning since September 2016. The bulk of her professional practice in the past 14 years has been in the ACT region. She is a Churchill Fellow, and has 40 years professional experience in the performing arts, working as an actor, pianist, singer, director, choir director and producer around Australia, alongside her teaching and coaching practice. Dianna holds various accreditations including for Working With Vulnerable People, and works from a well-appointed home studio which includes an extensive resource collection informing her work. Dianna enters students for AMEB Piano, Piano For Leisure, Singing, Music Theatre, Music Theory & Musicianship exams, and works with all ages from beginners to advanced. Dianna prepares students for Eisteddfods and auditions, and works with professional singers and actors on role preparation and accent work. Dianna works closely with a range of professionals (including specialist voice coaches, speech pathologists, dance teachers, naturopaths, osteopaths, physiotherapists and Pilates instructors) to provide students with advice and support in getting the best out of both voice and body.
